As part of Little League International®, the local leagues of Columbus, Georgia and surrounding areas comprise District 8. The operation of the district is overseen by the District Administrator, Josh Danison and will continue until October 2026. The district staff and board serve as liaisons between the Southeast Region and the local leagues. The assembled team has decades of combined experience and are charged with helping to ensure that all the volunteers within the district are well trained, and all local leagues are operating within the guidelines set-forth by Little League. 

From the onset of this journey, it is my goal to create a legacy that outlasts Little League itself. There is no greater opportunity in life than to volunteer within your own community and that is the start to an individual's legacy. I have committed almost 20 years of my life to serving as a Soldier in the United States Army and that calling is now ending. It is with great pleasure and honor that I have accepted the role as the District Administrator.
